First there was colour. Then there was digital. How does a craft change when technology moves so quick? Do you modernise or die? That's the question I asked Photographer, John Marshall.
In the 80's he was a Press Photographer, documenting key historical moments in the North of England such as the Miner's Strike, the Moors Murderers and of course Sport.
But when film was no longer viable, he had to adapt. The style of his photography changed. Leaving the slides to gather dust in the back of a garage for almost 20 years, the book unearths his collection providing an opportunity to reflect and rekindle his passion.
