Get It Done (Can You Hear Me Now?)Working together with Manchester Central Foodbank, we developed a 6 month art programme with individuals accessing the service. We established a number of themes we wanted to explore from our steer group. This included Manchester, housing, food, mental health and well being. We then expanded on these themes each month to create a series of work.

The project led to a co-created map of Manchester featuring key advice, useful services as well as free places to access art and culture. The map had a digital version so users could navigate themselves to each location easily.

The tasks from the sessions were then acculminated into an interactive workbook for more people to get involved in the project. All the entries from the project were then added onto our archive online.

Steam Hubs/Steam RadioI began working with Steam Hubs during the first lockdown, when the venue was at risk of closure. During this time we started a radio station to connect with our core and new audiences online and used our kitchen facilities to feed vulnerable families in the local area. I secured funding for these two projects as well as art council bids to help us re-open the space. Whilst the venue was closed we renovated the upstairs spaces to create a band rehearsal space, radio station, co-working and community meeting room. Once the venue re-opened we hosted a diverse range of events to serve the community. This includes hosting a number of live music and club nights, launching a photo exhibition of local artists and unveiling a mural for Activist Len Johnson with speeches from historians, songs from musicans and poems from activists. We were nominated for the People's Choice Award at the Manchester Creative Awards 2022.

Ripples of Hope FestivalAs Communities Producer, I supported community groups in all 10 boroughs of Manchester to organise their own Feast of Hope to discuss human rights issues in their communities.

Man On Bench Performance Working closely with Director, David Tovey, we delivered the closing performance of the Arts & Homelessness Festival. The piece was a catwalk-opera featuring costumes made in a series of upcycling workshops. I supported with the casting, stage management and creative production. 70% of those involved in the performance had lived experiences of homelessness.

Whitworth Workshop & ExhibitionI organised a 6 week workshop programme for individuals with lived experiences of homelessness. Here I trained student volunteers from Manchester School of Art to deliver a workshop on their craft. These included portraiture, weaving, drawing and clay modelling. All the work accumilated into an exhibition of homeless arts at The Whitworth art gallery. The exhibition was co-curated by participants and featured donation based workshops from the volunteers.
